The tutor plays a central role in nurturing students and attentively tracking their progress both academically and personally. They deliver important messages and cultivate a positive atmosphere by recognising and encouraging students who arrive well-prepared, dressed neatly, and enthusiastic about learning, thereby setting a supportive tone for the day.

Attendance is a key focus for our school and community and the tutor is pivotal in helping to remove barriers for students being on time and in lessons.

Head of Year

The Head of Year takes on the crucial role of overseeing the welfare and academic journey of the year group. Our dedicated Year Heads are experienced in pastoral care and are deeply committed to ensuring that students at St Luke's receive a holistic education. Additionally, they provide guidance and support on attendance, safeguarding, and extracurricular activities for their year groups.
