GCSE Results 2023

Top 5 schools in Devon for progress in 2023

Students and staff at St Luke’s Church of England School are celebrating an excellent set of results from this year’s GCSE examinations! 71% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and Maths with 47% securing a grade 5 and above.

Headteacher Kealey Sherwood said “one again our students have done themselves, their community and our school proud. These results are a culmination of five years of hard work, resilience and determination from our students coupled with high quality teaching and support from our amazing staff. I would like to recognise the fantastic achievements of our students alongside the outstanding work of our teachers and support staff. I am so very proud to be part of this school and these results reflect the ongoing improvement we have strived for over this past four years. I would like to wish all of our leavers the very best for their next steps. I look forward to hearing of their future successes and know they will go on to great things.”

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our colleagues from the Ted Wragg Trust who have played such a crucial part in our improvements. We are so proud to be part of an ambitious and inclusive group of schools who work selflessly for the benefit of every child that attends a Ted Wragg School.
