Latest Competition - TRADING PLACES

‘Trading Places’, is the Quay Words Young Writers’ Flash Fiction competition.  It remains open for free entries up to and including the last day of February.  We hope it will be a fun short writing activity for online learning or, indeed, for February half term.

The competition is open to 10-18 year-olds and there is a simple online entry/upload page here.  It’s free to enter and there are cash prizes in two age categories (10-14 years and 14-18 years) of £200, £100 and £50.

The prizes will be presented by Michael Morpurgo at an event on Saturday 8th May, at Exeter Custom House.  This event will either be live streamed online or take place in person, depending on restrictions.  There will be the opportunity for the winning young writers to read out their flash fiction.
