Year 11 Bridging the Gap

We have had a number of year 11 students requesting work that they can complete whilst schools are closed that will help them prepare for their post-16 studies.  Please therefore find below a selection of ‘Bridging the GCSE to A level Gap’ tasks. Please click on the subject to be taken to a webpage containing the resources..

For those students going to Exeter College in September, we will be in touch remotely to support you with the transition.  Exeter College is also currently closed however, the College Advice Team are still available to support learners via email or students can request a telephone call back. Please see the college website for further updates:

Exeter College have also had a significant number of students requesting information about pre course study. They have told us that they will therefore be bringing forward their ‘Flying Start’ subject pre course activities (that would normally be sent out in August) and will be emailing them to all students that currently hold an offer to study at the college post-Easter.  These resources will also be on their website and publicised via Exeter College’s social media. Exeter College also plan to send out further pre course activities to help students stay focused and motivated after May Half term.

If any student is making the transition in to another Post 16 provider, our advice would be to make contact with them direct to see if they can make any work available to you in preparation for your next step.
